“Today’s wastage is tomorrow’s shortage”.
The International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste is being observed on 29th September 2022. We believe that it is an opportunity to mobilise people to prioritise our collective efforts on this crucial issue. So, our grade II students of GDGPS INDORE decided to organise a campaign against food squandering. They propagated the message of food conservation across the school. The students distributed bookmarks to educators, and senior management with the message that “little hands may make a large influence” and requested them to be a part of this significant initiative. Students of Grades-Nur to VIII were asked to design bookmarks with the messages to promote not to waste the food. The initiative was encouraged by Principal Sir, Director ma’am, and praised by chairman Sir.
