On 15th January 2024 The pre primary children of GD Goenka Indore celebrated the festival with usher joy and spirit of brotherhood.

At first teachers performed a folk dance. The children took rounds around the bonfire while pouring in popcorn and rewadis. Lastly kites flying session was arranged at our school ground by our sports teachers. Our little Goenkans were truly splendid. They were also shown videos and shared information to highlight the importance of celebrating this festival

Both the festival fosters a sense of community emphasising the harvest season importance and the warmth of social connections.
