Our aim in Physical Education is to introduce students to a wide variety of sports and activities with the hope that they leave G.D. Goenka School, Indore recognizing the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle after developing a love for physical activity. We believe in the holistic development of each child. Our extensive Physical Education Program provides ample opportunity for a variety of physical and sporting activities to keep the bodies of students as active as their minds.
Sports are the building block of a child’s future & GD Goenka focuses on physical education by providing the children with the best sporting equipment. We have grounds where the games such as cricket, tennis, football, and basketball are played. There is also a skating ring within the school compound.

many occasions across the globe.GD Goenka Public School , with its new Management Team under the guidance of respected Principal – Patel Madam , has been indulged in quality academics along with quality sports for all students and the budding sportsmen of the city and state ; with this exceptional vision of her in providing and building new sports facilities , AEGIS CRICKET ACADEMY has tied up with GDGPS – Indore , where the Cricket training for its Students and Academy players , will be provided by National Cricket Academy & BCCI – qualified coaches.
Read more-Mr. Sandeep Thackar – Director of Aegis Cricket academy, is a well-known name in the circuit of our country. He’s an accredited Level B, Cricket mentor from NCA-BCCI, and has served as Head of Sports at Sehwag International School, Haryana and also as Head Coach for M S Dhoni Cricket Academy Indore. He also was part of the mentor team for the NCA-BCCI: National under 23 Men’s Camp at Bangalore in 20, where player of repute such as Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Ankit Rajpoot, Nitish Rana etc were part of this camp. The Aegis Cricket Academy, believes in nurturing the potentials and refine the inherent talent of a player, here individual monitoring and focus is given to all aspects of the game; BATTING, BOWLING, FIELDING, WICKETKEEPING and overall fitness along with strengthening and conditioning of a player under a team of qualified mentors. Video Analysis for an individual is done on regular basis, with monitoring of their progress.
Aegis Cricket Academy has Three well maintained Centre Turf wickets, along with a red soil practice wicket on a picturesque lush green ground and school campus. Recently, adding to the facilities, ACA has procured a BOWLING MACHINE from Leverage Co., which supplies to BCCI, NCA, ACB, ECB and many more cricketing countries. ACA also has a scholarship program, especially to promote the players irrespective of their background. Players from all over India have already registered and are practicing under a team of mentors at ACA-GDGPS.ACA also focuses on other essential requirements for a player, such as organizing Mental Toughness guidance, Yoga, Meditation etc. The gracious Management Team of GDGPS, including Chairman – Mr. Devraj Badgara, Mr. Dipesh Khandelwal, Mr. Vijay Asudani, Mrs. Sulakshana Badgara and Mrs. Preeti Asudani, have been promoting all sports since they are at the helm of affairs at GDGPS; and Aegis Cricket Academy is one of their main promotions for all students and player.
TENNIS ACADEMY
The Sajid Lodi Tennis Academy at GD Goenka offers modern facilities equipped to provide intensive and thorough tennis training on 2 floodlight tennis courts. SLTA is the creative association with GD Goenka. GD Goenka is one of the most prestigious academic schools of the country. Sajid Lodi Tennis Academy headed by Junior Davis Cup Coach Sajid Lodi has been instrumental in producing top International, Asian and national players since the year 2004.
The Sajid Lodi Tennis Academy at GD Goenka offers modern facilities equipped to provide intensive and thorough tennis training on 2 floodlight tennis courts. While, training here extreme personal attention is given to all kids. For a better understanding and development, kids are taken through variety of sessions.
