The Waldorf theory considers that during the first years of life children learn by being immersed in an environment through unselfconscious imitation of practical activities.
The transition from home to school in kindergarten is traditionally based on playing, singing, practical activities like drawing and social interaction all happening in children’s environment.

Avishkaar Robotronics Lab is one of the leading labs that deal with STEM (science, Technology engineering & mathematics) education. Robotics is a great way to get kids excited about STEM topics. Studies show that it is highly effective in developing team-work and self-confidence.
Robotics is not just about building a robot. It brings together knowledge in different fields by combining mechanical, electronic, electrical, and programming skills. It involves a variety of math, information technology, and engineering concepts. Robotronics Lab is an innovative project of setting up a Robotics Laboratory inside the school for grade IV-XII.
The Robotics content is mapped with the existing Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science curriculum. The lab is facilitated by trained teacher/s and gives hands-on experience introducing students to skills necessary to make complex Machine Designs, different programming paradigms, and robots.

G.D. Goenka Public School, Indore has Avishkaar Science Centre (ASC) set by Avishkaar Box which is one of the leading companies in India which is dealing in the field of STEM (science, Technology engineering & mathematics) education. It is a unique and first-of-its-kind Science Centre of India that exposes all the concepts of science (especially Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Electronics, and Machine & Mechanism working on the principle of Hand Learning & Learning by Doing Concept to the children.
The Centre has been specifically created to Excite, Engage and Involve children in the world of science. ASC is equipped with more than 65 automated & mechanical installations that are controlled by a centralized computer. The visitors are greeted as soon as entering the Avishkaar Science Lab (ASC).
The lighting system of this lab is also automatically controlled. As soon as a visitor visits a particular zone, the light of that zone is automatically switched ON & reaming all lights of other zones are OFF. These installations cover all the main concept areas covered from classes III to X. This lab contains the curriculum materials by which, more than 300 experiments can be performed from class III to class X. This lab also contains a well-designed curriculum based on CBSE & Curriculum Activity manual for students & teachers, which is more than helpful to students & teachers to perform the Experiment & Activity. Further, it has been designed to conduct more than 95% of activities/experiments suggested by NCERT. Finally, ASC has all the advanced science-based learning systems like Robotics, Aero Modelling, Electronics, and Science Projects.
COMPUTER & LANGUAGE LAB
In order to enhance language skills, right from the primary level, we have now introduced Words Worth Language Lab, catering to the much-needed requirement of sharpening Spoken English Language Skills. The product caters to the language enrichment requirements of students from class III to class X. The lab software enriches Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Sentence formation (functional grammar), and listening as well as comprehension skills. This product is based on research done by BBC in India and works at polishing the English language skills. The accent used is Indian (neutral). This product is graded into 8 levels to suit children of different age levels.
To develop foreign language skills, the school also uses Eurotalk Language Lab, which is Europe’s leading company providing Language Learning Products. Through Eurotalk, students learn several foreign languages using the natural way of acquiring language through LISTENING and SPEAKING. The lab provides a fun way to learn a foreign language, wherein the students are engaged and entertained whilst at the same time enabling teachers to monitor the child’s progress rigorously.
Number Nagar, our Maths Lab is for students of I to IX. It is primarily an engaging space that teaches core concepts of Mathematics in an activity-based environment, connecting real-life scenarios to textbook content, factoring in various learning abilities of children in a hands-on, child-centric, age-appropriate, multidisciplinary and engaging manner.
It is an extraordinary space with elements that do not intimidate students but allows them to connect Maths with real-life and explore the concepts learned in school chapters with clarity and enthusiasm. Every student will be trained on basic skills of Multiple Intelligence. Also, students will be encouraged to learn & study techniques to improve their efficiency in the board exams.
Occupational therapy (OT) focuses on helping children and people with a physical, sensory, or cognitive disability to be able to make them as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. OT can help children with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills and enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.
Some people may think that occupational therapy is only for adults; children, after all, do not have any occupation. But a child’s main job is playing and learning, and occupational therapists can evaluate children’s skills for playing, school performance, and daily activities and compare them with what is developmentally appropriate for that age group.
According to the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), in addition to dealing with someone’s physical well-being, OT practitioners address psychological, social, and environmental factors that can affect functioning in different ways. This approach makes OT a vital part of health care for some children.
The most important area for a child’s overall development is communication. The communication problem stops a child to express him/ her and understanding what others are saying. Speech and language therapists (SLTs) provide life-improving treatment, support, and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication, eating, drinking, or swallowing. SLTs assess and treat speech, language, and communication problems not only with children but people of all ages to help them communicate better. They also assess, treat and develop personalized plans to support children who have eating and swallowing problems.
SLTs support children with primary speech, language, and communication difficulties such as stammering, speech fluency, improper articulation, and others that are secondary to other conditions such as learning difficulties and hearing problems.
